Private Lake Michigan Sand Beach Enjoy the quiet, relaxed pace of Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula where you can hike the woodland trails, bicycle on traffic free country roads, or marvel at the huge expanse of lake Michigan with miles of solitude and lovely sugar sand beaches. At day's end, retire to a private home with all the comforts and a woodland view from all the large windows. A wonderland for children . . . . a quiet retreat for adults. . . . a step back in time. Make plans now for that vacation in September or October.
Spend your lakeside vacation in a modern, comfortable all-season home. Spacious living and dining room, two large bedrooms with new, comfortable bedding, and a kitchen as complete as your own including a laundry room with a washer, dryer, and water softener. Towels and linens are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
The comfortable living area has direct TV with a VCR & DVD player. Relax in front of the wood burning stove in the living area on those cooler evenings. The dining area contains a large dining table and a kid's corner with a table and desk that is just the right size for the younger ones. Electric heat and a thermostat in every room.
A lovely view of the woods from every window including the large modern bathroom and best of all, your own short path through the woods to miles of sugar sand beach that most times seems to be yours alone. Shared, perhaps, with tracks of deer and flocks of lake birds.
Enjoy unbelievable fall colors, cross-country ski trails, fishing, hunting, and boating at its best. Visit area waterfalls and enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan and the Hiawatha National Forest.
